Founder
My name is Katherine Tarbox
I’m a former investment banker and journalist who is obsessive about technology, data, media, and AI.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked alongside high-growth companies from seed to IPO.
​
I have a somewhat unmatched endurance (I’ve climbed on Mount Everest and Kilimanjaro) and seek to find creative solutions (“out of the box” solutions, if you will) to difficult obstacles.
​
I’m an international best-selling author who’s made hundreds of media appearances including the Today Show, Oprah, CNN, and CNBC. My work has appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, and the Washington Post. I’ve been invited into Fortune’s Most Powerful Women.

I hold a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, which was made possible by espresso and Diet Coke. Also by Coldplay, Adele, and the 1975’s music.

I strongly believe in purpose. Through the years I’ve served on non-profit boards or been actively involved with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the Young Benefactors of the Smithsonian, and my alma maters.
